@ColtonOrtolf Don’t you think carriers are developing AI to make it harder to meet step therapy criteria? There’s no way approvals for meds, procedures, equipment etc are just going to skyrocket. Also feel like Epic doesn’t want to integrate AI and decrease their self-importance? No?

@omar_or_ahmed But why would Epic ever accept a chat GPT written discharge summary? Don’t you think Epic is employing people and tech to identify what is AI written and block it? If they allow AI discharge summaries Epic will slowly become obsolete

Here's why:
GPT-4 can pass the USMLE. It can't write a discharge summary that Epic EHR accepts.
