@gunvalkyrie Pretty much. Ludologists hallucinated the conflict all on their own, cornering themselves into a narrow-minded framework for no good reason

@Tomgradep I mean, I'm far from a Kodaka/Uchikoshi fan, but it'd be hard to defend it even from that standpoint because before release they themselves were like "Oh, yes, we have like, a hundred different endings! No, I haven't really read them, no"
English

@Tomgradep If The Hundred Line is anything to go by, this is a marketing gimmick at best and a serious red flag at worst. But Gamer Numbers must go up, I guess!

Either way, I just hate it. The kind of title that would have me elongating the last syllable of my previous sentence so as to delay the embarrassment of having to say it out loud
KAK 2@allenvonghornet
I’ve never seen a company catch the name of the game they Frankensteined together after firing all its creatives, change a game’s title because they felt made fun of. 10/10 cinema.

@Tomgradep My thoughts exactly! In my experience, a lot of this content is extremely sex negative in its own right. Fanservice, far from confronting this ideology, is one of its clearest manifestations. Besides, sexual or not, I just think fanservice is terrible lol (the name says it all)
English

@UnderRealLife I see what you mean. I guess I'm used to the idea of accepting fanservice as the catch-all term through which anime tackles sexual content, which in and on itself carries serious connotations of how sexual content is handled in the first place.
