With Manuel Ugarte likely to leave (valued at £35m, with Juventus, Newcastle, & Aston Villa interested) and Casemiro also expected to depart. Kobbie Mainoo is seen as the 'untouchable' cornerstone of the future and is close to signing a new contract. 🚨 NEW: Elliot Anderson is the top transfer target for both United and City next season. It would be a surprise if the midfielder isn't playing for one of the two Manchester clubs in 2026/27. He is viewed as an affordable, young player with high potential and long-term value. Both clubs are actively pushing for him and rate him very highly. A potential relegation for Nottingham Forest could make a deal more attainable at a reasonable price, although owner Evangelos Marinakis is known to drive hard bargains.
