Be careful buying milkweed at big-box stores.
The milkweed that most of them sell is tropical milkweed (Asclepias curassavica), which in the southern US doesn't die back in winter the way native milkweed does.
This confuses the monarch butterflies who stop migrating, stay in place, and a parasite called OE (Ophryocystis elektroscirrha) builds up on the persistent leaves and infects the overwintering population.
Tropical milkweed is making monarchs sicker, not saving them.
Choose native milkweed only. Common milkweed, swamp milkweed, butterfly milkweed all die back, reset the parasite cycle each winter, and support the migration monarchs actually need.
If you already have tropical milkweed, cut it to the ground in October and replace it if you can.
@rogue00000_@ProspectFiend22@DaftDoggo Not sure if the whole thing has but I know someone put a few whole songs from the concert online. Check out how he did Holy Holy at the concert I know someone posted that one. It was awesome
@DaftDoggo They played for 3.5 hours in Portland a few weeks ago. Closest I've ever felt to my soul trying to leave my body. 15/10 would recommend anyone go see him whenever possible for the rest of time
