NEWS: China’s Rare Earth Magnet Exports to U.S. Slide for 7th Straight Month, Down 22.5% YoY $MP $USAR $ALOY $AREC China’s exports of rare earth permanent magnets to the United States continue to fall, at a time when Washington and its allies are stepping up efforts to reduce reliance on the country’s critical mineral supply chains. Shipments of permanent magnets to the US totalled 994 tonnes in January and February, down nearly 22.5 per cent year on year, according to data released on Friday by China’s General Administration of Customs. This marked the seventh consecutive month of decline. Over the two months, the US was China’s third-largest buyer of rare earth magnets, behind Germany and South Korea, accounting for 9.2 per cent of total exports. Exports to the EU, meanwhile, continued their upwards trend, reaching 4,775 tonnes in the first two months of 2026 – up 28.4 per cent year on year – and raising the bloc’s share of China’s magnet exports to 44.4 per cent. scmp.com/economy/global…

At the same level of reserves, gold prices would have to rise +400%, to $26,000/oz, to match the 1980s peak. Meanwhile, in the 1940s, gold reserves backed over 50% of federal debt. To match the 1940s ratio, gold would need to surge +1,340% to ~$75,000/oz. Gold reserves are highlighting just how astronomical US debt has become.

🚨NYC Mayor socialist Zohran Mamdani has proposed lowering the exemption on the death tax (estate tax) from $7.1 million down to only $750,000. He would also increase the death tax from 16% to 50%. No other jurisdiction in the USA confiscates wealth at death from people with that small of an estate. Anyone with any equity in a home in NYC would likely exceed the $750,000 and have to pay the death tax. There is a federal estate tax (death) for estate wealth that exceeds $15 million (individuals). However, you can deduct other state and city estate taxes before paying the federal estate tax.
