I was struggling to make $10 a day now I make 15x more everyday. This is everything I did to increase my revenue (other than marketing): - Made my onboarding WAY longer to get people invested - Removed my trial and went hard paywall - Increased my prices (I went from $0.99 a week & $4.99 a month to $14.99 a week & $24.99 every 3 months) - Removed yearly and now only offer weekly & every 3 months - Asked for a review before paywall so anyone finding the app thinks it’s more legit bc of the amount of reviews

this is actually a very real pattern right now veo videos are likely getting flagged / deprioritized by tiktok… that 99 views cap is usually a distribution limit, not content quality what’s happening: – video goes to first small batch – algo doesn’t trust it → stops pushing – images don’t trigger that → so they hit 200–300+ so it’s not your content, it’s the signal what i’d test: – re-export videos (capcut or inside tiktok) to strip metadata – add small edits (cuts, zoom, text, noise) so it feels more “human” – mix in 2–3 fully native vids (from camera inside TT) between veo posts if none cross ~300 views after a few tries → assume partial flag and reset account

@consumerxai Hey An! I did all warmup phases as per your playbook, but post with video generated by veo always gets capped 99 views. Though when I post engaging image content it hits about 250+ views. Why?

I just moved to Cyprus 🇨🇾 My first impressions and why I moved: > it's safe (unlike rest of Europe) > friendly people (unlike rest of Europe) > quiet > clean air > fast WiFi > tax friendly > great coffee > amazing food > very walkable > incredible weather > affordable (€2 for coffee, €7 for meal) > great laptop cafe culture (unlike rest of Europe) > growing tech scene (unlike rest of Europe) It's been so long since I had somewhere I could lock in from and call home. I was torn between UAE and Cyprus but the last month made my decision for me. And so far I am so happy with my decision.

@ericsmith1302 i started my paid ads campaign targeting US. I was wondering for the video ad creatives do you create multiple dimension formats or stick to 9:16 only ? Thanks. Really appreciate your response

So we hit $5,000 monthly revenue today with a 3-person team. $60K ARR. I know that's not a big number. But f*ck, it feels good. Last year after we pivoted from Fitmint, I was lost. Tried 3-4 ideas that went nowhere. Took multiple breaks because I didn't know what I was doing anymore. Each failed experiment made me question everything. Should I even be building startups? Maybe I'm not cut out for this. Maybe I should just get a job. Then it clicked: I've been building and growing mobile apps for 3-4 years. Consumer apps. I actually know this space. Why am I running from my own experience instead of doubling down on it? So early this year, I started building a mobile app studio. Building consumer apps that solve real meaningful problems. Not chasing trends or copying what's hot. I set one goal: "Get to $5K. Prove you can do this." Not $100K. Not some wild number I'd read in a tweet. Something real I could actually hit if I put my head down. Hit it today. Now I have the confidence I needed. $10K MRR is next. Back to building!

My new project (Project X) is on the move! Feb 18th: First subscriber. March 13th: $1K MRR. March 20th: $2K MRR. Wild that it's growing faster than AutoShorts did in the beginning, which is currently at $117K MRR. The recent surge of growth was a result of pivoting my core use case to something even more niche after getting a lot of feedback from users. Once I did, my Facebook ads really took off - right combo of audience and messaging. Going to double down on this in the next few weeks. Aiming for $5K MRR by May!

r3tards will tell you to do ONLY organic for your app on 200K view organic video: - you'll get ~0.4% people to exit TT/IG & search your app ~ 800-1000 downloads on 200K view ad, i chadmax with: - 7% click through rate ~ 13,800 downloads that's 14X more traffic than an organic video and this traffic is high-quality, not random scrollers rest is upto your product funnel to make shit profitable

How are you all managing claude code terminals together. The context switching between all these terminals can be overwhelming for me sometime ngl.

We launched Flamme with 0.8% Day-30 retention. Not a typo. Zero point eight. Today I spoke at GDI New York about how we got from that number to 50%+ D30 — beating TikTok, Instagram, and most of the social apps you use every day. The framework that moved the needle isn't complicated. But almost nobody is applying it deliberately: B = M × A × P Behaviour = Motivation × Ability × Prompt If any one of those three is missing, your user doesn't come back. Doesn't matter how good the product is. Here's how it played out for us: 🔴 Launch: 0.8% D30 Date planning app. Episodic. Used once, then invisible. 🟡 Pivot 1: 4.2% D30 Added a Daily Question + basic AI. Some reason to return. Not enough. 🟡 Pivot 2: 30% D30 Applied the Fogg Model deliberately. Engineered a carrot (morning pull) and a stick (evening loss aversion). Made the habit loop explicit. 🟢 Today: 50%+ D30 Layered in social accountability — the emotional stake isn't personal, it's your partner. Added home screen widgets. Made the product physically present between sessions. Every jump had one cause. One behavioural mechanism added to the system. The dating and relationship space has the same problem most consumer apps have: generic Motivation ("find someone") and generic Prompts ("you have new matches"). Neither creates a daily habit. The retention moat isn't the match. It's the habit between matches. I put the full deck together for GDI — 12 slides, the frameworks, and the three laws I'd tell myself on day one. Full deck below.
