Thoughts on game, guest thinker tonight since I was busy is @NimmosNutsack give him a follow! 1. Jansen showed out. Giving us some much needed offense that we lacked with our former Gold Glover Jonah Heim. Even though they werent in a crazy location for any of the hits, he still made contact which seems to be lacking in parts of our lineup. 104mph shot is nothing to scoff at. 2. Degrom gave us a decent outing but not as bad as Eovaldi’s looked, which I will take. First starts of the year and possibly the neck made a factor into the fall off late? Who knows. Who cares. Henderson and Alonso are hard to get out regardless and it was a matter of time they showed of their prowess. His slider was absolute filth. Just hung some to the wrong hitters. Not worried. 3. Seager, Nimmo and Langford did exactly what we expect of them. Im sure Wyatt felt major relief of some kind legging out a beautiful triple to compensate for the misplay that brought in the tying runs earlier. Alot of signals for a power strong offense that I hope continues on. 4. Duran finally hit a bomb that was 105 off the bat so he didnt leave a stitch untouched. You love to see it. Still alot of chasing that wish wouldn’t happen but happy nonetheless for some contribution. 5. Bullpen looked wonderful despite Chris Martins continuing struggles in pressure situations. Robert Garcia looked strong and Junis/Winn were as advertised. Loving Cole Winn’s improvement going back to last year. So high on the kid. 6. Pederson💀 7. Asstros were still never a dynasty. #allfortx
