Weaver Elementary had 16 students recognized at the May CCBOE meeting for their accomplishments at the ACTE Tech Competition! Way to go little Bearcats! We’re so proud of all of you!

At the May board Meeting, Weaver High FCCLA was presented with a $2500 check to aid in cost at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference.

ACAP Prep Continues! WHS acceleration teachers have been using their 30 minutes of class to review and practice ELA and math skills since January! This week they’re focusing on ACAP basics as students gear up for next week! ⁦@WHBEARCATS⁩ ⁦@iPartnersCCS⁩

ACAP Prep: Practicing a strategy that helps students break down a text dependent writing prompt so they can compose a solid response. Students explained their thinking as they modeled the strategy. They gave me their best again today! ⁦@iPartnersCCS⁩ ⁦@WHBEARCATS⁩

Dinosaur Digestion Day 2: We all know how this ends… The lab simulated the entire process. Students compared the digestive systems of several different animal groups. Every day is an adventure science!⁦ ⁦@WHBEARCATS⁩ ⁦@iPartnersCCS⁩

Mrs. Jennings’s Fashion students worked through the whole design process to complete their sample formal wear made from trash bags and table clothes. Great job ladies! Future design stars at WHS!
