People on £30k or £40k, who are not on welfare, are struggling too. Labour’s plan means they’ll be taxed AGAIN to pay for an energy bailout for people on benefits. Our plan doesn’t cost taxpayers a penny and helps everyone by cutting levies worth £200 for the average household.

This claim from Labour is misinformation nonsense. The cost of living is not “coming down this week.” It’s going up. With the government taking raking in £20 million a day extra in fuel VAT alone! It looks like they are “excessively profiting” from where I’m sat.
