Last week, our own @Wouter_DM obtained his PhD in Bioscience Engineering, titled 'Standardization and expansion of microbial cell sensors: harnessing the power of LysR-type transcriptional regulators'. Congrats!! Very happy he will stay for a bit longer in our research group🤓

@Michielstock @EFBiotechnology Hey @Michielstock, we look at vitality, functionality, response curves and specificity of the regulators we use, mainly via fluorescence measurements. So the regulators we take for biosensor construction, are regulating a fluorescent protein in our biosensor platform.
