I had the last laugh. @R_J_Shaw left reform, or was rejected, as I understand it. He suggested I was dumb and claimed he knew better. Richard told me how he would destroy @reformparty_uk with @_AdvanceUK at the next election. I knew that wasn't happening, but he's really a grade A arrogant arsehole flip-flopper.

The reason is that having the best intentions alone doesn't guarantee viability as a party.
To succeed in elections, a party requires broad appeal. If a further-right party were electorally successful, UKIP would currently be leading in the polls.
Reform likely implements some of the strictest policies on illegal immigration seen in a viable party.
You can achieve most of your goals through Reform or none at all with the Green party.

Just watch as Rupert further water downs his statements. He's an intelligent person and now understands that appealing to a narrow majority doesn't necessarily secure victory. I'm unsure whether it's because he uses straightforward slogans without elaborating on his points that some believe he's far right, but that's not the case. He's actually a centre-right Tory.
