4DL had so much fun at sports day!

We had SO much fun learning about the Roman Empire with The History Van yesterday! A fun, immersive day that will enhance our Roman understanding. Well done again year 4!

The sun is shining so we took our times tables outside this afternoon! We really enjoyed spotting the times table patterns and playing hopscotch!

Well done to Ibrahim in 4DL who won his class an ice skating trip from sport Sheffield! We had so much fun yesterday! #iceskating

Congratulations to @hartleybrookPE who won last nights Y5 football competition and move on to the @sfs_sports finals in a few weeks. We lost 2-0 to Hartley Brook but won 3-2 in a fantastic game against @windmillhillpe scoring with the last kick!! #football ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Congratulations to @MonteneySport who won both their girls football matches at last nights @sfs_sports league comp that we held here @BeckSchool. Our girls team started off the night with an emphatic 6-1 win before losing 2-0 to finish as runner-up! #football ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Your child will come home with a booklet to practise their times tables. The multiplication check begins in June. Please encourage lots of practise with this and on TT Rockstars to build confidence😊

EARTHQUAKEEEEEE… ‼️yesterday there was an earthquake on the Y4 corridor! We spent all day learning about them and produced some amazing pieces of work. Well done for your enthusiastic learning y4!

A fantastic start to Spanish in Y3 & Y4 @BeckSchool yesterday. We have been learning classroom instructions.

Today we continued our learning on perimeter. We drew around shapes and then worked out their perimeter #BeckMaths

Today we measured the play ground using a trundle wheel! We are learning perimeter and we were wondering what the perimeter of the playground was. We worked in 2 groups to find the length of each side, to ensure our findings were accurate and reliable. Well done year 4 #BeckMaths
