People are going to hate me for saying this, and I donโt care, but a nurse does not even get the level of scientific education that a premed student does.
They are great at their job, which is providing care and medications on schedule.
The US has confused people about which is a caring profession and which is a scientific profession and this is very specifically a US issue.

Iโll just say it: mandatory DNA testing at birth protects absolutely everyone. If a woman is telling the truth, a routine cheek swab at the hospital changes nothing about her life. But if sheโs lying, that simple swab prevents a good man from having his finances, his youth, and his heart hijacked for the next eighteen years. We need to normalize mandatory testing so men donโt have to feel guilty for wanting to know if the child they are paying for is actually theirs.
