mmm favorite is pretty close between plateau and gsi, the worst is confidently ordon village, it's by far and away the worst part of replaying twilight princess

@JustAPixelThing OOT is super awesome it’s just crazy how many people try and use it and MM as example of why Botw or TOTK can’t also be good

@_Pyronic Oot was my childhood game and I can be just as content with fans who got into the series with the wild era. Crazy how some treat it like a life threatening issue. Also omg same about Skyward Sword, literally playing it rn.

Okay but like some of y'all need to calm down about what makes a Zelda fan valid. It's giving "they're not doing it the way I like it, so it's not okay!" Hot take, but playing and enjoying any Zelda game makes you a fan.

@JustAPixelThing exactly. I find it so odd that I feel like most games series’ fan bases are normal when it comes to this but for zelda if someone mentions that they enjoyed totk hundreds of ocarina of time purists come out of the woodworks to tell you your opinion is wrong. They are all good!

@Paragraph212 @Stealth40k ah i see makes sense, especially bc someone had to take up the mantle of king/queen after their deaths. It would make sense for it to be someone directly related to sonia

@_Pyronic @Stealth40k Sonia only stated she felt a blood connection, as well as her and Rauru's powers in her. Doesn’t really mean that they had to have children though. Zelda and Sonia might share the same bloodline (with Sonia being more like an aunt), but Rauru has nothing to do with them.

@LocalLibraryCat Yeah that’s my fault cause I was in China and the deadline for evo reg is coming up fast But we also are working with a bunch of TOs to supply their locals with evo passes so it’s not only online and then hand reaching out to people who would going they had a pass

@Paragraph212 @Stealth40k could you explain what you mean by this one? I felt like the game was pretty direct with saying that zelda was a distant relative and that the power came from the zonia?

@_Pyronic @Stealth40k You can’t spoil yourself in non-linear, fragmented stories. Seeing stuff out of order is the point. Also, Sonia and Rauru don’t need to have a kid. Sonia and Zelda are of the same lineage, and they both share the power of time, but her light abilities don’t come from Rauru.

@_Pyronic @Stealth40k I can see why that would bother some. The game lacks dynamic writing in that regard, but this has generally been a common issue with Zelda stories. Still, it feels like a bit of a nitpick. Even if link told them, nothing about his quest would change. They’d still focus on Ganon

@_Pyronic @Stealth40k How can it spoil you on an event that Zelda literally already told you about at the start of the game? She goes through each mural and explicitly describes Ganondorf attacking Sonia, stealing her stone and becoming the demon king.

@Paragraph212 @Stealth40k all of this said, I still love the game and I plan to replay TOTK once I’m done playing skyward sword which I’m doing currently. I’m curious how my opinion will change.

@Paragraph212 @Stealth40k I think this part was executed much stronger in botw bc you knew the ending before even watching any memories, just not the details. Different from Totk which is basically the opposite, how you have separated detail, and you have to discover the story that is linear but in pieces
