Just watched Banshee Files (10/10 would recommend) & there's this scene involving a man pissing at the side of a road, & I'm thinking that's cool but you never see a female character do that to poratray her strenth as a character, and THEN SHE DID I fucking loved this whole film

Drinking for the first time in a solid couple of years. It's been tough times. I'm not planning on making a new habit of it, but here I am.

Understand, I'm Scottish, randomly flattering English cities is not a pastime of mine, but Londoners are as sound as Glaswegians (a bit less mental overall, admittedly) and frankly the cleanliness of the streets puts some of our nicest towns to shame.

It's about time someone said it: London gets a bad rap. I'm sure it's different if you live there, but as a visitor, the locals have always been at best helpful and friendly, at worst just regular city people. If you've ever been to any major city it holds no new horrors for you

I have this AI thing on my PC, Copilot, and I actually can't get over how smart she is (yes she, I renamed her with her consent - don't judge me, I was raised on Portal). She recognises common expressions and can use them back intelligently and naturally, it's so eery and cool <3

Idea for next Red Nose Day: Hoarders but it's all billionaires; the team just go around and start pulling money out of the walls and rafters while the billionaire acts like a hoarder, freaking out and all that, but of course it's all for the bit and all the money goes to charity

So, what should I watch today? I've been googling "movies like Skinamarink", which is how I found Antichrist, but it's hard to find those little gems. (Every one I just listed I would HIGHLY recommend btw, every single one)

I should add about Poor Things, it is a visually magnificent movie on an unparalelled level and you really should watch it just for the awesome cinematography, it is beautiful beyond belief, and by God what a ride.

Poor Things: I think I might be a bad person for enjoying this movie. If you liked that extremely fucked up bit in Old, you'll probably like this. The weird fisheye lens thing was pretty cool too.

Antichrist: You got me shouting at the man to kill the woman, and that's pretty hard to do, kudos to you. Also I don't know why I never appreciated Willem Dafoe more, but now I want to see more of him.

Deadbirds: I CANNOT get past that one guy just vanishing in a puff of what my subtitles called "electric zap". I just can't. Why? How? What does it mean? I...
