@linmeitalks £2393 take home. Rental average is around £1400. So that’s £1000 a month. More than enough to live a decent life.

Very silly tweet, you people want everyone to do care. That’s why you people end up being terrible carers cause you’re forcing yourself into a job you hate.
Precious@prechy001

@IamToyinRoberts Some mistakes people do, I bet she is the 'i wont or don't like healthcare type " zero experience in care after spending over 3 yrs in UK. Where would the help likely come from?

Housing is the problem. Literally the only way. Housing need to be significantly less and then people can spend /do things. There’s a tiktok explaining it better. But literally the economy only moves when housing is significantly less than salaries
Jamal@JajaPhD

I get you. I’m not an economist and so, I don’t know the solution. I do know that I would like everyone in the UK to earn more. I’m just not sure about how to maintain a reasonable cost of living while paying high wages. I wonder how the USA does it.

It’s the lacing. Flatten out the back and don’t make the top lacing too tight.

@d_e470 That’s not how it works tho. Read on defined benefits scheme before you do it. Length of service and gross pensionable pay is what determines your pot. Not your employer’s contribution

The major reason why i want to work in the public sector for some years is to boost my pension. You mean my employer will contribute 28%??! Whuttt
