Hello @Stripe, My name is Gideon Nova Kwikiriza from Uganda. Ideally, this is a request that should come through official government channels, but unfortunately that has not yet happened. I’m therefore reaching out as a citizen and member of the creator community. There are many creators on X in Uganda who qualify for creator revenue sharing but are currently unable to access their earnings because Stripe services are not yet available in our country. Introducing Stripe to Uganda would unlock opportunities for thousands of digital creators and entrepreneurs who are already contributing to the global digital economy. It would also encourage more creators to monetize responsibly, increase engagement on the platform, and ultimately grow the ecosystem in a way that benefits both creators and Stripe. Uganda has a rapidly growing digital community, and access to global payment infrastructure like Stripe would be a transformative step for our creators. I sincerely hope you will consider expanding your services to Uganda. Thank you. 🙏 @elonmusk

Crypto doesn’t have a tech problem... It has a usage problem. We’ve built wallets, tokens, L2s, and narratives… But when it’s time to actually pay for something in real life, everything suddenly gets awkward. That’s why @WalletConnect Pay matters. This isn’t another “web3 checkout” or online-only demo. @WalletConnect Pay lets people pay with stablecoins at physical stores, using real POS terminals. This isn't just a concept. They’ve already tested this live in a café in Lisbon.👇 x.com/WalletConnect/… And now they’ve integrated with @ingenico , one of the biggest POS providers in the world.👇 x.com/WalletConnect/… Why does this matter, you ask? Because mass adoption doesn’t start on Twitter. It starts at the checkout counter. What really makes this interesting is how $WCT is designed. WCT isn’t a dormant token It’s used for the incentive and coordination layer behind WalletConnect’s payments stack. You pay with WalletConnect Pay and earn cashback in $WCT. Those rewards are funded from the treasury, and over time, part of the protocol revenue may be used to buy WCT from the open market. And this is dictated by the community through governance voting. So instead of empty incentives, you get a real loop: ➫People make real payments ➫ Payments generate activity ➫ Rewards encourage usage ➫ Users stake and participate ➫ The network grows stronger That’s what real token utility looks like. Tied directly to usage and revenue and shaped by governance. And the governance part matters more than people think. WCT holders don’t just benefit from adoption; instead, they get a say in how it’s incentivized. If crypto is ever going to escape Discord and Twitter timelines, this is the direction it has to go. Follow @WalletConnect and @wcthub Pay attention to WalletConnect Pay, because this is where his is where theory turns into usage.

When was the last time you paid for something with crypto in real life? @WalletConnect Pay is making that possible! It allows you to pay with stablecoin at physical stores using POS terminals, with $WCT rewards basked in This is what real utility looks like. @wcthub 👇

InfoFI ended and everyone is launching ambassador/Creator programs. I have probably seen over 50 this week. Getting accepted is no longer the win. Standing out is. This video is a reflection on how I approached the @peaq ambassador program, why the impact lasted, and what it really takes to stand out as an ambassador today. If you’re in an ambassador program right now, this shift matters. And for teams looking for proactive ambassadors who take ownership, I’m open.

So much happened at @DabbaNetwork last week! In case you missed it, here are 5 key highlights you should know. 👇 1️⃣ Network Growth Hits a New Gear. Dabba’s onchain network metrics keep climbing, and the numbers speak for themselves: ➫ 90,573 hotspots deployed ➫ 452,865 daily active users ➫ $448,681 in 30-day revenue ➫ 26,011 TB of data consumed in the last 30 days This isn’t speculative growth. It’s real infrastructure, real users, and real demand playing out on the ground. 2️⃣ Townhall #20: Putting the Network Onchain 🏛️ Townhall 20 was a big one. With the broader DePIN space debating burns, incentives, and “real” demand, Dabba made its position clear: If the data isn’t fully verifiable on-chain, the conclusions don’t matter. Key updates from the session: → Iteration 2 of Dabba’s Open Network Data Layer → How Hotspot Owners, LCOs, and Hotspot NFTs work together → A deep dive into the LCO Partner NFT and onchain operator verification → Upgrades to the Onchain Playground → What’s coming next The goal was to let the community, analysts, and builders verify the network for themselves. Explore the Onchain Playground 👇 👉 dabba-onchain-mvp.vercel.app 🎥 Missed it live? Watch the full Townhall here: 👉 youtube.com/watch?v=kFfFdP… 3️⃣ Dabba Loot Boxes Close on a High The Dabba Loot Box chapter is officially coming to a close, and what a run it’s been. ➠ 30+ ecosystem partners onboarded ➠ New token holders from DePIN, NFTs, memecoins, and beyond ➠ A massive success in community-driven distribution Final chance to reserve $DBT and win partner rewards: 19th EOD UTC Remaining loot boxes now carry higher chances to win, so don’t miss the final window. 4⃣ Dabba Spotlighted by House of Chimera @HouseofChimera highlighting Dabba and its approach to real-world infrastructure. 👉 Check out the highlights here: x.com/HouseofChimera… Recognition like this reinforces what the data already shows, the ecosystem is paying attention. 5⃣ 1,000 TB Consumed in 24 Hours ⚡️ For the first time ever, the Dabba network crossed 1,000 TB of data consumption in a single day. This is the signal that matters most: 👉 The internet people actually use. Real traffic. Real behavior. Real-world connectivity at scale. ⚡ Massive week. Bigger momentum. The network keeps growing, usage keeps deepening, and Dabba continues to push DePIN forward the right way. Which update stood out to you the most? 👇

The year deserved a proper send-off, and the future deserved a proper introduction. It's been one week since our End-of-Year Party & Launch Night, hosted by @iwuno_obinna. We brought together founders, executives, ecosystem leaders, and institutional players for an evening designed to unwind, connect, and celebrate how far the ecosystem has come, while officially ushering in CBC Blockchain Services. Set within a refined, relaxed luxury setting, the night blended music, fine dining, conversations, and genuine moments of connection—reminding us that strong ecosystems are built not only in boardrooms but also in trusted rooms where people can relax and be real. Beyond celebration, the evening marked our launch, reinforcing our commitment to advancing technology, finance, digital assets, and capital market infrastructure across Africa and beyond. We extend our sincere appreciation to our distinguished partners and leaders whose presence elevated the evening: The DG of LCCI, Registrar/CEO of CIS, President of CCCOCIN, National Treasurer of FintechNGR, CEO of NGX, Mr. Ade Bajomo (former President of FintechNGR), and COO of FMAN, alongside ecosystem partners Crello, AlphaGeek, @jeroidng, @ZapApp, @paxalpay, and Ubyco Hub. 2025 was worth celebrating. 2026 is already in motion. Here is a glimpse of the Private, purposeful, and unforgettable night. 👇🏽

For me, stepping onto the red carpet wasn’t just about hosting; it was about witnessing power, vision, and real conversations collide in one room. On Tuesday, 23rd of Dec, the 2025 Grand VIP Mixer by @_cbcblockchain and @iwuno_obinna brought together founders, C-suite executives, investors, ecosystem leaders, and operators shaping Africa’s tech, finance, and digital asset future, all under one roof. From meaningful conversations and deal-flow discussions to music, fine dining, and an atmosphere that felt intentional and elevated. This night was a reminder that ecosystems grow faster when the right people connect in the right rooms. Honored to host the red carpet and experience this moment firsthand. This is what intentional networking looks like. Here’s a glimpse into a night where visions were shared, partnerships sparked, and the future quietly negotiated. ✨

I was opportuned to speak at the @NFT__NG event in September, where I joined @iwuno_obinna (President of @SiBANnigeria and CEO of CBC Blockchain Services @_cbcblockchain ) and PETER AKUDIKE ( MBA, CRISC, CRCMP) (Country Compliance Officer at @LunoGlobal ) for a panel discussion on Crypto Governance: Balancing Innovation and Regulation. One thing we kept coming back to is that governance in crypto isn’t just something regulators impose from the outside. A lot of it already starts at the protocol level—how systems are designed to support compliance, transparency, and proper oversight, and how those internal mechanisms interact with external regulation in the real world. I shared my thoughts on why regulation works best when it understands how the technology actually functions. Not every problem needs heavy-handed rules, and not every innovation should be left unchecked. The interesting work happens in the middle—where you allow room to build, while still protecting users and the systems they rely on. I also spoke about why builders can’t afford to ignore the regulatory environment in the countries they’re building in. You don’t need to have everything figured out from day one, but you do need to understand the direction regulation is moving, the risks regulators are actually concerned about, and how your product might be interpreted in that context. Building in isolation from local realities usually creates friction later on. In Nigeria, this balance is especially important. There’s a real appetite for crypto innovation, but also a responsibility to make sure people aren’t exposed to unnecessary risk. Innovation is good. But innovation that ignores how people use these products, or how regulation will eventually show up, usually doesn’t last. The takeaway for me was simple: when governments take the time to understand the industry, regulation becomes clearer, more practical, and less adversarial. And when builders think about governance early, innovation becomes more sustainable. If you’re interested in how governance, regulation, and innovation intersect in emerging markets, you can watch excerpts from the session in the video below #regulation #web3 #crypto #africa #nigeria #sec #defi #exchanges #blockchain
