It also tells us that something happened between Chris Jericho & WWE, because everyone seemed to be sure that he is heading to WWE My assumption, and that is just based on how WWE has been using legends recently, is that Jericho saw how WWE has used a Goldberg, Lesnar, or Cena in their "retirement runs", who all have been presented as part timers, while Jericho likely wants a full time run. I assume WWE didn't want to offer that and wanted him as a attraction I could be totally wrong here, but it's either something like that or money
