some people have such poor opinions on ball that they shouldn’t have a platform to air them.

now I’m in a space with ggaps where I really feel happy with the choices I made and feel positive about the future with music and the sound I want to create, the artist I want to be, the “brand” of ggaps. took a long ol’ time but I do genuinely feel happy with myself.

it’s not some crazy spiritual, metaphorical thing, it’s just a rebrand. when I thought of myself and me as a musician with the brand I had, it didn’t match the vision I had for myself in music at all.

ggaps (named after the massive gaps in my teeth) is a version of me that I relate to the most in music. I have spent years singing love ballads on an acoustic guitar and never felt happy with what I do. this is why the change happened, so I could be happy with the music I make

given no context to any change that I’ve done online. when making music I feel I’d exhausted all my options under my name, and tried so many things that I didn’t know where I sat anymore within music. that’s where ggaps came in.
