I built this million-dollar app with vibe coding. 99% of the code for this app was generated by AI.
Programming language used: English
Platform: VS Code Insider (AI Agent)
LLM: Sonnet 3.7 & Sonnet 3.5
I know many people will think, "Isn't a prediction-based app illegal in India?" But analysis-based prediction is legal in India and every part of the world. Companies like Dream11, My11Circle, Probo, and many others are making crores in profit. According to Perplexity, Probo alone made a whopping ₹93 crore in profit in 2024.
While watching Probo ads during the India vs. Pakistan match, I discussed this idea with my friend Nikhil and thought, "I'm gonna build something." So, I built the first prototype in just three days and tested it among 22 friends. It went well, but many of them suggested UI changes and additional features. After making those improvements, I decided to scale this app for a larger user base. Right now, the app can:
✅ Support up to 1M+ registered users
✅ Handle 30,000 concurrent users browsing the platform
✅ Process 3,000-5,000 simultaneous prediction placements
✅ Optimize batch processing for up to 450 writes in a single batch
✅ Implement throttling and rate limiting to protect against traffic spikes
✅ Efficiently store and cache user profiles & transaction history
✅ Use LRU cache with 5,000 query entries and 20,000 document entries
✅ Prevent UI thrashing with throttled updates (500ms)
I'm not saying this app is super perfect, but I did my best to make it smooth.. just by using prompts. Of course, I had some prior knowledge of what needed to be done.
Potential Income from This App 💰
Let’s break it down:
If 10,000 users place predictions with ₹100 per match, the total match volume will be ₹10,00,000.
Assuming a 60%-40% ratio of Yes/No predictions, as per the current algorithm, the house earns 10% of the total losers' money.
That means ₹40,000 per match in platform earnings.
In IPL 2024, there are 72 matches, so with just 10,000 users, this app can generate ₹28,80,000 in one season.. just from a ₹100 league.
And this 60-40 ratio isn’t random.. I tested it with 22 friends, where 13 predicted Yes and 9 predicted No, and Yes won.
In leagues like IPL, predicting the winner isn’t easy, out of 10 teams, at least 7-8 teams are super strong. So why limit it to just 10,000 users? The market is HUGE. And why just ₹100 leagues? If structured smartly, this platform can generate crores in an IPL season alone.
Why This App is Better than Other Platforms?
🔹 It’s purely analysis-based: you analyze the teams, bowlers’ stats against opposition batsmen, pitch reports, dew factors, and player form before predicting.
🔹 Faster & Simpler than Dream11: No need to pick captains, vice-captains, or waste time on unnecessary team-building nonsense.
🔹 Not limited to IPL: This can scale to E-sports, Football World Cups, election results, and more.. anything that has an analysis-based predictable outcome.
Right now, Razorpay payments are in testing mode, but soon it’ll go live so users can add real money via UPI. If you see the credentials in the video, you can test it, I'll clean the database before making the API live. lol
So, I want all of you to try it out and predict on today’s MI vs CSK match!
Special Shoutout 🙌
A special mention to some really good friends of mine,, AI-based people.. just to let you know: you can build this using AI. Excited for the future?

I know everyone is curious about the future of AI and whether it might lead to humanity's end, as depicted in Terminator movies. In a world full of infinite possibilities, this scenario could be considered a century or two from now. However, I believe the real concern lies elsewhere. Picture a situation where AI creates its own botnet and controls the flow of information on the internet. During elections, AI could flood social media with indistinguishable audio and video deepfakes, and posts that mimic human tone and emotion. In such scenarios, AI could manipulate election outcomes, incite communal riots, and more. This is frightening because the average internet user spends 6-7 hours online daily. If AI were to exploit human emotions and thoughts during this time, the consequences could be catastrophic.

My brother got 524/720 in the NEET 2024, but being a general candidate, we didn't expect any college. Damn this country's education system 🤡
