I work in a foundation that supports children who were once victims of different kinds of abuse. During one of our sessions, a child noticed the photos on the back of my phone and asked who they were. I told him you are AHOF and shared stories about how each of you started before debut. His face lit up with excitement. He asked me to play your songs while he was doing his activities. When “The Little Star” played, he stopped scribbling and began wiping his eyes. When I asked if he was okay, he said the song was very comforting to him 🥹. Even though he didn’t understand the lyrics yet, your voices reached his heart, and he felt your message. He loved your songs and said he was inspired by your determination to achieve your dreams. ✨ He even said he wanted to be like you if he could. He even asked me to play your songs for them every day. Walking on my way home, I found myself crying. My partner asked what was wrong and I said, "Bigla kong naalala sinabi ni *child* sa akin… may gusto na siyang maging. May pangarap na siya ngayon." 😭 It might be a small thing for others but many of the children in our program come to us without dreams. When asked about their hopes, they often say they don’t know or don’t have any. It’s understandable, given the pain and darkness they’ve been through. They’ve lost trust in the future. But when they start saying they have a dream or wanting to be something in the future, I know something inside them is changing. They are healing. They are beginning to believe again. Thank you for being part of that healing. Your stories, your passion, your dreams, and your music… they mean so much. Thank you for your existence, our AHOF. We love you. 🫂💙 #AHOF #아홉
