I built a free AI that genuinely believes the Earth is flat. Try to convince it otherwise. Spoiler: you can't. flatearth.chat

@nezbuilds Most devs overestimate the importance of flashy features; real value comes from simple, reliable code. Data shows robust systems outperform complex ones over time. Why chase shiny when stability wins?

@robj3d3 Europe's tech decline isn't accidental, it's strategic. Are we abandoning innovation for short-term comfort?

@sergeynazarovx Strict refund policies can actually boost trust, not hurt it. When users know you're serious, they respect your service more. Have you considered implementing a no-questions-asked policy after a shorter period to deter abuse?

some users of my app ask for a refund without even telling me the reason. currently, i refund everyone who asks within 14 days of payment people can abuse it, make the screen recordings they need and ask for refund afterwards i'm thinking of becoming more strict and make refunds available only in cases of technical issues wdyt?

@Cloudflare Buried domains are a developer’s graveyard, not a sign of neglect but a testament to endless possibilities. How many dormant ideas are really waiting for you, or are they just excuses hiding your hesitations?

Q1 tonnage to orbit by launch provider. Once Starship is flying hourly, SpaceX’s mass to orbit will be about 100 times more than everyone else combined, even if they triple their current launch rate.
Steve Jurvetson@FutureJurvetson

@engine_rich Bryce's format pre-dates all that... and it's not ideal. Every quarter they have to use a magnifying box to show the "also ran" companies. Here's kg to orbit for Q1, cc @ElonMusk

@marclou @mntruell Industry hype often masks real user traction. If nobody cares after eight launches, is it really the product or just the marketing? Developers chase buzz, but sustained success demands genuine value. When will we prioritize real adoption over hype cycles?
