The kids are more than alright, they're extraordinary. And, incredibly, the bus driver has made a 100% full recovery. Last Wednesday, on a seemingly ordinary day in Mississippi, a school bus driver suffered a severe asthma attack. She blacked out behind the wheel. The bus loaded with 40 children, was hurtling down a busy four-lane highway. Disaster felt inevitable. But instead of chaos, these kids showed grit and unshakable courage. Five middle schoolers immediately sprang into action in a scene straight out of an edge-of-your-seat thriller. A 12-year-old seized the wheel, steering the bus away from catastrophe. Another kid slammed on the air brakes, grinding the bus to a halt in the median, averting disaster. One student dialed 911 with trembling fingers but an unshakable resolve. Meanwhile, another hero-in-training searched for the driver’s nebulizer and personally administered her life-saving medication. None of these kids waited for an adult to save the day. They became the adults right then, right there.

At 1 AM, Truckers answered the call to save a life. A man struggling with mental health issues was threatening to jump off the I-696 overpass in Detroit, Michigan. Police gathered to try to talk him down, but after 3 hours the man was determined to jump and end his life. Truck drivers heard the incident over the radio and decided to help. 13 commercial truck drivers lined up under the man creating a "protective barrier," shortening his fall from 20 feet to only 5 feet. Because of the compassion these truck drivers showed, the man was able to be talked down with no injuries. State authorities posted a photo of the "truck wall" to social media using it as an opportunity to remind the public that help is available to anyone thinking about suicide. God bless these truckers for reminding us that there is still so much good in this world and even a stranger is worth saving. 🙏

There’s a lot of division in the Catholic Church right now. Bishops, please hear this! Young people are not looking for a watered-down, social justice version of the faith. They’re searching for roots, truth, goodness, and STABILITY. A Church that stands firm, not one that shifts with public opinion. Stop sacrificing tradition in an attempt to appease the loudest (liberal, btw) voices.

You think the Catholic Church is a cult because you've never seen real worship in your life. You grew up in a church where the lights are flashing, the music is blasting, people are jumping up and down, crying, shouting, falling out, and someone told you that that is worship. That is entertainment, that is emotion. That is not worship. Real worship is walking into a space and immediately feeling the weight of where you are. - The silence, the incense, candles, people kneeling, heads bowed. Not because someone told them to perform, but because they actually believe they are standing before God. The entire mass is built around one thing, the Holy Eucharist. The actual body and blood of Jesus Christ. Not a symbol, not a memory. God, physically present on the altar. You do not jump up and down in the presence of God. You kneel. You are silent. You receive him with humility because you understand what is actually happening. The early church did not have hype men and a smoke machines. They gathered in silence in homes willing to die for what they believed in. That is the church Christ built. So before you call it a cult, understand what you are looking at first.
