Great leaders are demanding without being demeaning. They push others to get better, but also support them along the way. It requires balance between positive and negative interactions. The more positive to negative interactions the better, but if that number gets too high, 13-1, people don’t improve, because some conflict is needed for growth. In order to keep that balance, it is important to celebrate the wins while continuing to challenge and push your teams towards greatness.
