I am surprised nobody discussed Salim Ghouse's portrayal of Lord Ram from Bharat Ek Khoj. He was equally brilliant as Krishna.

Born and brought up in a city that's generally great in every liveability index (if you belong) but also has the notoriety of being the 1st city in India to see Ram Navami riots. Our school bus routes used to be changed in last few days before Ram Navami.
