The battles I’ve faced have been real, but so has God’s faithfulness. When I faced my hardest moments, He did not leave me. In fact, He walked with me every step along the way. I would not be here to tell my story of not for Him. When life tried to knock me down, God stayed with me. When Satan tried to attack me, I resisted him. When I was alone and afraid and in the dark, God was my Light. Through all my struggles, I give Him the glory. If you’re struggling today, I see you. More importantly, God sees you. He loves you fully and deeply and He will never let you down.

The firstfruits ceremony was when the High Priest would wave the firstfruits of the barley harvest as an offering before the Lord. The apostles teach us that this ceremony is a prophetic symbol of Yeshua’s resurrection: "But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep" (1 Corinthians 15:20). Indeed, just as the firstfruits of barley assured Israel of the full harvest to come, Yeshua’s resurrection from the dead is the guarantee that there will be a future resurrection of all redeemed people of God: "For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:22-23).
