@randystarbuxx @100PercentAUFC @thistlearchive It wasn’t his responsibility at all but the game couldn’t restart with 2 balls on the pitch so he wandered over and made a token effort, twice, and got booked for making it look like he was wasting time. This isn’t as difficult as you’re trying to make it.

@randystarbuxx @100PercentAUFC @thistlearchive Thing is, it didn’t get booted out. If he was trying to kick the ball out, he would have put it straight out. Instead, he tried to very gently roll it at an acute angle to the touch line and leave it within play to delay the game, which is why he got booked. You saw that, yeah?

@SuperAyrFC This makes it sound like Arbroath would only have a pitch inspected if someone else schedules it. Madness. The video of the players walking on the pitch shows that frost didn’t happen in a short space of time.

I contacted Arbroath yesterday regarding the pitch for tomorrows game and got a kind reply this morning.

@SuperAyrFC @diegeybiscuit It was -2c in Arbroath last night. The pitch was obviously frozen, they just didn’t bother to have it inspected. Amateurish and expensive

@diegeybiscuit Messaged the office on Thursday and they seemed to think the pitch was playable yesterday. Disappointing. Guess it will come out in the wash who was to blame.
