A Wisconsin man, Maxwell Anderson, 34, has been sentenced to life without parole for the brutal murder and dismemberment of 19-year-old college student Sade Robinson after what was supposed to be their first date. Prosecutors say the date started at a seafood restaurant before Robinson was killed at Anderson’s Milwaukee home. Her body was later dismembered, with remains washing up along Lake Michigan beaches some as far away as Illinois. Her head has still never been found. During the trial, jurors also heard that Anderson had watched a Netflix series involving dismemberment the same night of the murder. He was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. The judge called the case a real-life “horror story.”
