He’s a God damn idiot, as are the fools that support him. The “Reflection Pool” wasn’t designed by American architect Henry Bacon a hundred years ago to look like a swimming pool. It’s designed to have a darkened characteristics that has reflective qualities to reflect the monuments.
That way, the Washington Monument is reflective to you when at the Lincoln Memorial, and when at the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial is reflective to you.
It’s designed to enhance the grandeur of monuments, create an illusion of reflection, and inclusion of expansive space of unity.
He’s a tacky vulgar person that vulgarizes everything he touches. America isn’t becoming great, it’s becoming vulgar.

Education policy is one very clear difference between liberalism and progressivism.
Liberalism seeks to educate people more.
Progressivism seeks to educate people LESS, so that everyone is equal in ignorance. (This doesn't work)

not sure this holds in stock market. normative behavior is priced rationally / weird ideas not efficiently priced. Normative might be right most of the time but you never make any money because it is crowded. Better to bet on weird which if wrong will cost you zero and if right…

People CORRECTLY mistrust 'weird' (i.e. "off-distribution") people bc normative social behavior is p good all things considered. If someone defects from that their behavior prob mass gets flatter AND there's TONS more ways to be V BAD than to be v good → lower EV → Mistrust.

Arizona wastes an extraordinary amount of water growing alfalfa in the literal desert. It's ~27% of the state's total water use. This is extremely uneconomical, and if farmers were forced to to pay anything close to the actual value of that water, it would disappear overnight.
