At the beginning of the season we established that our motto for the season was “Empty the Bucket” which meant that if we wanted to accomplish our goal of a State Championship, then every single person would have to give every single thing they could every single day. There was no room for anyone to slack or not give their all, especially if we wanted to succeed at the highest level. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Juniors Kaymarria Bandy, Heleyna Pennic, and Freshman Kelsey Williams all picked up multiple hits with Heleyna picking up four rbi as well. Here’s What’s On Deck for the Lady Rams: The week starts off Tuesday as the Lady Rams take on an in-city foe in the 3A #1 team, Saint James at home on Tuesday with JV starting at 4:30 and varsity playing after. Area play begins Thursday as the Lady Rams head out to Holtville for a match up with the Dawgs. JV is set to start at 4:30 with varsity playing after. To end the week, the JV Lady Rams will play in the Saint James JV Tournament taking on Glenwood, Prattville, and the host Saint James. Two Games…Two Run-Rule Wins😎 In game 1, The Lady Rams run-ruled the hornets in 5 innings of game one of the day. Freshman Kelsey Williams went all 5 innings allowing no runs on only three hits. Eighth grader Rici Ellis went 3-3 at the plate and had an rbi. Senior Kyra Wallace and Junior Kaymarria Bandy both had three rbi on the day. In game 2, The Lady Rams run-rule 5A St. Paul’s Episcopal School in 4 innings to finish the day 2-0. Senior Kyra Wallace pitched all 4 innings allowing no runs on only 4 hits while striking out 7. Sophomore Reese Woody went 3-3 at the plate and Junior Kaymarria Bandy picked up 2 hits of her own, both had two RBI. #GoRams | #Team20 | #NoOneButUs

On Tuesday, both JV and Varsity play host to Prattville Christian Academy with JV set to play at 4:30 P.M. with Varsity playing after. Thursday evening the Lady Rams are beach bound as they return to Panama City Beach, Florida to play in the Florida-USA Softball Challenge for the first time since winning the tournament in 2022. Here’s what’s on deck for the Lady Rams this week: The Lady Rams are back in action on Thursday at Stanhope Elmore, after a 3-0 start to the season at the Prattville Lions Classic. The Lady Rams picked up wins against a 5A Central region foe in Sylacauga as well as 6A Schools Calera and Benjamin Russell. The weekend was led by a dominant ace in the circle and a solid group of hitters that resulted in their 3–0 sweep on the day. Eighth Grader Ericianna Ellis set the tone from the leadoff spot, going 3-for-7 with five runs scored, three RBIs, three walks, a double, and a stolen base, consistently getting on base and creating scoring opportunities. Senior Kyra Wallace delivered one of the most impressive all-around performances of the day, finishing 3-for-6 with seven RBIs and three walks at the plate while also earning two wins in the circle. Over eight total innings she recorded 12 strikeouts and only allowed two hits and only allowed one unearned run in her eight innings of work. Sophomore Reese Woody came through in the biggest moment against Calera with a clutch double to the left field wall, finishing with three RBIs, a double, and two runs scored. Freshman Jaelyn Bolling provided a huge spark for the lineup, collecting three hits, scoring three runs, adding an RBI, a triple, and a stolen base to apply constant pressure on each of the opposing defenses. Junior Kaymarria Bandy also played a key role in the offensive production, going 2-for-6 with three RBIs, three walks, and a double, including a game-changing hit against Sylacauga. #GoRams | #Team20 | #NoOneButUs

WE ARE SO BACK!! The 2026 Season is officially here and the BrewTech Lady Rams are ready to kick off the season with three games at the Prattville Lions Classic! Today the Lady Rams take on Sylacauga at 1:30 P.M. on Field 2, followed by Calera at 3:00 P.M. on Field 2, and finally Benjamin Russell at 6:00 P.M. ok Field 4.
