One of the best parts about being a house builder is that everybody is an expert in your field

Remember our car accident 10+ weeks ago? Guess what? They didnt have insurance, shocker No Habla English, one of the passengers (prob driver) disappeared from the scene. They gave the police a fake insurance card No accountability, no consequence We were just sitting at a red light. Wife had a concussion and back pain for 6 weeks Our car, which MY insurance is paying $18,000 to fix (won't total it) has now lost half its value due to an accident See this homie with the mask? He disappeared before the police showed up left a lady behind. So we take a loss, my wife is hurt, my insurance will pay up but of course raise my rates to cover it and the other party just gets to walk away with a totaled cheap ass car. Pisses me off - if I tried to pull that shit off I would prob be arrested.

Watching the collapse of the Republic in real time is wild. There's no one coming to save it. Democrats and Republicans are both fully committed to the demolition of the system that created the greatest flourishing of freedom in human history.

@WanjiruNjoya As a native Alabaman, I have always recognized Georgia as our mother state and its people to be our people. I often explain to people that Alabama is just West Georgia and that Mississippi is just West-West Georgia.

Buried inside the Farm Bill is an amendment backed by 29 members of Congress that would effectively ban hunting with dogs nationwide. No hounds for bear, no rabbit dogs, no coonhunting, no field trials. It was pushed through on a voice vote, disguised as an anti-greyhound racing bill while the real impact on hunting was barely discussed. This is a direct attack on one of the oldest hunting traditions in America. We need to stop it now. Call your representatives and demand this amendment be removed from the Farm Bill. Make it clear hunters are paying attention. If we let this slide, it won’t stop here. We cannot let this happen Aaron B. Futrell, Author|Owner, Delong Lures

My little brother was singled out and bullied by his female teachers because he would bounce up and down when he got excited. We used to call him Tigger. He was a single digit age and they would scream at him and insult him for hopping in place in anticipation of recess or something. It was hardly even moving, imagine bouncing your leg up and down when you feel antsy. He did it with both. They took away his recesses. They wouldn't let him go outside. They took him off the soccer team, his greatest joy in the world. They made him feel like a piece of shit. He couldn't help himself and it stressed him out so much he just started having tantrums in the morning and refused to ever go to school again. The teachers held meetings where they determined amongst themselves that they had done nothing wrong. That my little brother, whose crime was that he felt so much excitement that he couldn't contain himself, needed to be medicated. They brought in some experts who agreed and convinced my mom to start giving my brother anti-anxiety medication at like 10 years old. The life faded out of his eyes. He was never been the same. The tantrums never stopped. He never even graduated school. I hate every single one of them.

@Eric_Erins Because we told every young American man that could’ve done this that he needed a college degree and an email job instead. And bank appraisals give you $0 for this level of care and detail. We got 600 Sqft “bonus rooms” with carpet instead

A former clients dog bit a plumber on a warranty call. The plumber called us, wanting to know who would pay for ER visit (& potential lawsuit). The homeowner called asking us to “solve this”. We finished the house 6 months ago. Why is this somehow still our problem?

@roofing2fish I think the plumber doesn’t want to make a claim. For some reason he thought we should cover the ER visit instead of the homeowner

@builderanthro I would think a situation like this would be covered under the Plumber's WC policy. I could also maybe see it as the homeowners insurance, but that would probably only be if they were negligent with allowing the dog attack.

@WomanDefiner Because the foundational documents of the Western world are in script and the powers that be don't want us to read them. Its hard to defend your rights if you can't learn what they are.

I was talking to my 24 year old niece today and she asked "Why don't kids learn cursive anymore" and I told her the truth. It's because you can't teach cursive 7-12 year olds who don't even speak or write in English to begin with. American kids are held back to educate kids who walked in the last decade.
