@STaranto92 I do think he tried to go high in 3, because Kaden had room. The corners are just so narrow, and I think Kaden let off the throttle early to maybe try a crossover move because he wasn’t expecting the hole to be big enough. 15 shoulda moved over on one of the straightaways imo

@kevin_nix33 I keep forgetting they have slightly more horsepower. Also wonder if falloff is more extreme. However I feel like COTA’s heavy braking zones have always allowed for more passing with this car.

@AnotherJerryLU @TOPPER_TALK Hot take, I really feel like CUSA refs aren’t that bad. Like every crew is gonna make mistakes. In my opinion CUSA refs rarely have major impacts on games. I also say this because every SEC game I watch the officials are 10x worse, so I feel CUSA isn’t that bad lol

That’s why I wanna get rid of OT altogether. You had hundreds of laps to get to the front. Why should you have two more? In football, nobody complains when the winning team takes a knee in the final 2 minutes. #NASCAR

I go back to my thought that I’ve shared before and that’s not every late-race caution is overtime-worthy. Overtime is designed to let us see a battle for the win play out. If a person has a lead of more than a second with two, three laps to go, the finish wasn’t really in question. It makes overtime even more head-scratching when it’s the 2nd place car that hits the wall to bring out the caution. The whole point of overtime is to see if 2nd place can finish a battle against 1st place. If 2nd place crashes to bring out the caution, it feels silly to go to overtime, imho. That being said, these are all kind of unforeseen circumstances, but I’d love to see overtime rules at some point addressed.
