PSA: Not every NFT loss is a wallet hack or seed leak. With gasless listings (off-chain EIP-712 sig's), assets can be executed later as long as approvals exist — without a new wallet sig. These off-chain signatures are invisible to users and incidents are usually only identifiable retroactively via on-chain forensic analysis, not wallet UIs. This is a rarely discussed UX/security trade-off of gasless listings. More detailed analysis will follow in a paper at a later point. Web3 is built on code and architecture — but it’s carried by people, memories, and community.
