One of the most unrealistic things about Wolfenstein is that these groups are depicted as allies. In reality the Klan and the Nazis didn’t like each other. In the 1920s, numbering 5 million strong, lead by prominent, wealthy and educated community members, especially pastors pressured President Calvin Coolidge into passing the 1924 immigration act, which severely lowered the total numbers of immigrant inflows, and restricted them to mostly northern and Western Europe, at the cost of absorbing millions of German Americans. In the end, they did in fact fall to minority status among both White Americans and non-Hispanic, non-Whites.
