The Number 1 driver is literally most important in securing the constructors It was because of Piastri’s poor performance which meant that Lando had to carry McLaren to the title, winning the final race to secure the championship over Ferrari because the second driver fell short

@zendeilol @norriistar yes but also ferrari made a mistake leclerc said on radio they should have done another run apparently mclaren were smart and did extra run in q3 but yes lando put in great lap plus mclaren mcl38 was a downforce monster
