I'm genuinely so tired of seeing these accounts just straight rip clips from Reddit and try to make money off of people that probably won't notice/won't care if their clips are reposted. I mean we are posting bot clips now lmao. Because if these accounts used clips from anyone notable/makes content, they'd actually have to ask permission beyond just posting their username. Nuke these accounts into the sun. All the accounts are Dutch so it's probably the same dude too.

@M11122233344454 You assume it was a statement about quality. It was a statement about launch hype and sales numbers that they have failed to capitalize on because the game has issues. But you're busy on your 'mindless consumer' arc judging by your replies, so go off I guess.

@catalyst_hd CoD Vanguard sold over 30 milion copies. Please don't confuse the financial success with the game's quality. All they did was some decent marketing targeted at mindless consumers. It has never been a good BF game and the only half-decent thing beta did was the mid movement.

It means a lot for me ^^ After covering 7 Battlefield titles (including the Battlefield 6 launch), and being on the front line every day for nearly 16 years, it's time to leave and pass the baton to other media outlets that are willing to follow DICE, Ripple Effect and company into this era of Battlefield. Wondering when they are going to understand that a well designed and fun Battlefield sandbox, in of itself, is all you should need to keep things fresh - not crutching on LTMs and FOMO to generate engagement. Believe that's what the kids call ~ replayability ~.

I mean absolutely none of this entire situation is surprising when this 'aim community' shtick has become more about getting validation from strangers online rather than actually documenting moments of talented aim.

A few hours played of Season 2 now over the last few days and -- The season is fine, I guess. It's hard for me to get excited and want to continue to play when the content is so drip-fed and half of the content is either LTM or weapons that are repeats from the last few seasons of 2042. As cool as the gas is, it doesn't do it for me. I do like the map. But I'm just not a fan of the direction they are taking the game. It goes beyond a movement change here or a gunplay change there. They continue to mash together design philosophies to try to cater to everyone and the game is suffering because of it. Maybe that's game design in modern year. The game feels performative to changes they think players want rather than what the game needs (I'd rather them tackle vehicles, class balance, visibility) and I doubt that when the hype dies down by next week that this season will have done much to get players back and playing consistently again.
