If unresponsive consultants are holding up the implementation of these life saving interventions, they should be cut out of the process altogether. Speed is a factor in every fatal crash. Speed is an even bigger factor in making the necessary changes to keep our neighbors safe.

@brettawithers @andywildman What do you mean by: "likely be supported"? As in, the residents wouldn't support such a change? Or the surrounding density is not sufficient to support local businesses there with a local client base?

@andywildman @cbowe34 Kennedy/Stratford is not analogous to Riverside/McGavock. MUL-A is more intense than would likely be supported at a small Neighborhood Center. FAR bonuses are not how civic uses typically are constructed. Religious institutions can include gymnasiums in res zoning via SE permits.

An unexpected knock-on effect of our super-restrictive zoning policy in Nashville: my polling place is not located within the boundary of my precinct, and it is nowhere near the geographic center of said precinct...
