First of all, I was born and raised in that country, and was severely oppressed for my entire life until I left. So I know what Iranians suffering is and let me tell you, it’s not the war. But just imagine living in a country where you can’t have access to internet, can’t drink alcohol or get bitten like a dog, can’t danse or as a woman sing, or wear clothes like a normal person. Imagine your sister would have been legally allowed to marry at 9 yrs old, hanged for being a lesbian, or your mom would have needed to ask your dad’s permission to travel. And to top it off, imagine your savage government would spend ALL your rich country’s money on terror proxies in the region and on missiles and nuclear programs to the point the majority of the population were poor and kids in villages would have to walk hours to get to school (if any).
