@cody_delonge @TheColbyD I’m all for regular season and rivalry games meaning more but a rivalry, home, playoff game? That’s a recipe for an all time classic.
English

@cfb_standard @TheColbyD No fuck that lol especially for The Game. Like whoever wins in the last week of November won the rivalry period. The idea a playoff game would mean more actually is worse. That game that week at noon is how God intended it to be any other matchup between UM OSU is a fake matchup

They still don't get it. Rivalry week with playoffs on the line only make rivalry week better. Think West Virginia Pitt Backyard Brawl in 07. Every year your rivals have a chance to end your season. These excuses are all pathetic

The climax of college football, to me, is rivalry week, not the playoff. @ESPN_BillC lays out well why a 24-team CFP could take a hammer to that. espn.com/college-footba…

@TheColbyD @Moneyline_Mac @TCEonSGPN with CBB about to wrap up, when do the 2026 CFB team previews start??
English

@helmsson @DiehardsAlabama A lot more can be analyzed with them but don’t have enough space to type it all.
English

@cfb_standard @DiehardsAlabama We don’t agree but you’re one of the few who actually give a valid response lol. Can I ask what the appeal is with these guys?
English

@helmsson @DiehardsAlabama Cristobal has proved he can win as a HC. Had success at Oregon; has Miami in Semis in 3 seasons; also was a Bama asst under Saban.
Hetherman is a proven DC; was under Cig at JMU.
Monken was at UGA in ‘21 & ‘22. Very creative play caller; gets playmakers the ball.
English

@helmsson @DiehardsAlabama And for the record I think Wommack has been stellar this year on Defense but I don’t think he’ll stay much longer.l unfortunately.
English

@helmsson @DiehardsAlabama Ultimately DeBoer can take over playcalling with how much they’ve stalled under Grubb.
I’d go after Cristobal to bring on Hetherman at DC and go get Todd Monken from Baltimore as OC.
English

@helmsson @DiehardsAlabama He has digressed significantly in basic offense since last year, got flattened by UGA in the SEC champ game. Not enough space to type out all the issues with undisciplined plays week in and week out.
It’s not about this game, it’s about what he’s done for people to question him.
English

@cfb_standard @DiehardsAlabama 9 win season with the most inconsistent Bama QB we’ve seen this century, 11 win season with a playoff win with *severe* basic offensive issues, going into Death Valley and burning it down, knocking off #2/5 UGA, list goes on. If you focus on the negative that’s all you’ll see.
English

@helmsson @DiehardsAlabama What has DeBoer since he got to Bama? Loss to Vandy, a week 1 loss for the first time in 20+ seasons, bowl game loss last year, 35 point loss in a playoff game.
This isn’t a 1 loss problem.
English

@cfb_standard @DiehardsAlabama This type of emotion-based response is what gets teams in the gutter for years. Realistically he’s the best coach Bama can get right now. One ass whooping is not enough for me to sell on DeBoer
English

@Mike_Beavers @DiehardsAlabama What has DeBoer since he got to Bama? Loss to Vandy, a week 1 loss for the first time in 20+ seasons, bowl game loss last year, 35 point loss in a playoff game.
English

@cfb_standard @DiehardsAlabama Then who is the guy for Bama? The only coach Bama would be happy with is Saban, and he's not coming back. No coach worth a damn will take that job. DeBoer was crazy to take the job, cause every time he loses a game, half the fanbase wants him fired.
English

Texas put up more points on Michigan than Ohio State.
Jon “JR” Rhoades@jrs_rankings
Iowa put up more points on Vandy than Alabama did. And Alabama was at home.

@TheColbyD Fair point but Bama has also been plagued with injuries all season long at key positions stopping the run; Russaw, Jefferson was banged up, Beaman, Latham, Keenan first few games, & Overton past few games.
English

@cfb_standard I actually think Bama's run defense is worse than those numbers they were in the high 50s before the Eastern Illinois game. Oklahoma can't run against anybody either.
English

@TheColbyD my point on Live Chat last night is Indiana struggled to run the ball well against top 35 or better run D.
They averaged 128 ypg in Big 10 games. 8 of those 13 games their opponents didn’t even rank in the Top 50 run D.
