I am reviving the Dziga Vertov Group.

The world would have to wait for Nicolaus Copernicus before this Platonic view would finally shatter and the extant arguments for the soul and its motions would die. It is not an exaggeration of Kant's to frame the revolution in metaphysics as a Copernican Revolution.

This Egyptian view (already present in Republic X with the 7 threads distributing fates) was the final line of defense for the existence of souls. Aquinas incorporates it by stating Angelic intelligences guide the planets, which he will fit into arguments for vertical causality.

Only real distinctions exist substantially, used to argue for the infinity of substance, 2. There is only one substance 3. Substance exists necessarily.
