@RydMike I don't know if you have seen the Github issues of the repo. People were bullying and begging the maintainer to make an update. I think for his mental health, it was definitively the best choice. People were only complaining but not contributing.

This is a surprise #FlutterDev package "get", the most liked package of all packages on pub, commonly known as GetX, is gone from GitHub? Or has it just moved to a new not yet disclosed location? Still available on pub of course, but probably not maintained any more then?

@Zhuinden I understand the maintainer. People were almost bullying him to make new updates. They were complaining and putting a lot of pressure upon his shoulders but they have never contributed

@luke_pighetti The good thing about React/Typescript is the huge quantity of tools (JSON validators, ORMs, widgets...) The good thing about Flutter/Dart is that Dart is a sane language with a great dev experience. No need to setup TS, npm/yarn/pnpm, prettier/biome, eslint/biome etc.

the more i use flutter/dart the more i like react/typescript the more i use react/typescript the more i like flutter/dart feels like i'm the only one who works this way

Every time I think @ladybirdbrowser might stall on web-platform-tests progress, the team grinds out another month worth of fixes. Just beautiful incremental improvement here! 🤓📈

Codex is really impressive. In just 3 hours, I have already done more than I would have done in 1 week. It's really a great tool for the people working on personal project after work.

@tadaspetra - Will it still work 5 years from now? That's one of the reason we argue a lot about GetX. It's not maintained for years and the quality of the library is very low For now, Bloc and riverpod have been updated for years

Crazy how the Flutter Community (me included) spent the last 6 years arguing whether BLoC, Riverpod or GetX was the best state management? Instead of - does the app work? - is it a good experience? - will it still work 5 years from now?
