The moment I received this CCTV picture from GMC Bhavnagar (Gujarat), my mind froze for a moment thinking how mentally and physically devastated these Orthopaedic surgery resident doctors must have felt at this moment when they were made a murgha openly in the Operation Theatre. Every NEET UG and PG aspirant and their parents must watch this to open their eyes regarding this over glorified profession in India .

What will you do if your seniors torture you , make you murgha in OT , make you stand whole night and ask for selfie every hour to show your timing and location ? This is happening in GMC Bhavnagar , Gujarat where some animals in ortho dept are doing it with their juniors . Each one of them should be terminated and their professors and HOD should be investigated for becoming spectators ! @prafulpbjp @sanghaviharsh

📍Under conditions like heart failure - ketone bodies utilised as fuel as requires less metabolic processing Furthermore , it's a sympathetic overdrive condition, lipolysis occurs in response to increased catecholamines Lipolysis -> fatty acids -> ketone bodies hence used by❤️

📍During myocardial ischemia(MI) - it utilises glucose as fatty acids require more oxygen to metabolise, and the heart is already in survival mode with deficit of oxygen Per molecule of oxygen consumed - glucose yields 6.3 ATP - fatty acids yield 4.1 ATP

Stunned myocardium - Acute brief ischemia, heart is shocked However flow is restored to heart either spontaneously/ through interventions Still left ventricular dysfunction is noted Takes days to weeks for the heart to recover

💠 Temprature dependent conduction block aka uhthoff's phenomenon seen in MS Why ⁉️ 1️⃣Increased temperature alters sodium channel kinetics and shortens action potential duration 2️⃣demyelinated fibers highly sensitive to physiological changes that leads to conduction block and worsen the previously affected neurological deficit 💯✨

"Heart ❤️ is an omnivore" Heart utilised different substrates as fuel under different conditions 📍Under normal circumstances - Fatty acids as ⛽ , most energy dense 1 molecule yields as much as 106 Atps compared to glucose that yield 32 atp per molecule

Snakebite and Pregnant women. According to the official National Health Mission (NHM) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines for India, pregnant women with snakebites must be treated with the exact same dosage and clinical protocol of Anti-Snake Venom (ASV) as non-pregnant patients. The risk of withholding treatment far outweighs the risk of ASV administration, as what is beneficial to save the mother's life is essential to preserve the life of the fetus. *Pregnancy-Specific Complications & Management. 1. Multidisciplinary Team: Treatment must involve a coordinated effort between an emergency physician, obstetrician, pediatrician/neonatologist, and general surgeon. 2. Anaphylaxis Care: If the mother experiences an allergic reaction to ASV, standard rescue protocols apply. However, obstetricians carefully monitor the use of severe vasoconstrictors like high-dose epinephrine, as they can suddenly reduce placental blood flow. 3. Fetal Monitoring: Medical teams use continuous cardiotocography (CTG) or serial obstetric ultrasounds to check the fetal heart rate and look for signs of abruption, placental hemorrhage, or fetal distress. 4. Obstetric Complications: The team remains highly vigilant for early miscarriage, premature labor, or internal uterine bleeding caused by vasculotoxic venoms. karger.com/cra/article/2/…
