We had a fantastic music lesson this morning with Mrs McVey!

We’re having a lovely first morning! We’ve played with our buddies, had snack time and now we’re playing outside in the sunshine! ☀️

Reception enjoyed singing and playing ukulele on stage this afternoon- accompanied by backing dancers and to a live audience! 🎉🕺🏻

This afternoon we have been mixing potions, handwriting and building a HUGE bug hotel 🪱🐌🕷

Reception have been enjoying the new role play area this week 🐠🍦🌴

Reception have been working hard to decorate the fence this morning!

This morning after phonics, we took our writing tools outside. There were a lot of imaginative ideas including shopping lists, surveying people on their favourite foods and writing about the gingerbread man! We also enjoyed drawing and colouring! ☀️✏️

Reception were very excited that our walk this afternoon took us through the park

This afternoon we drew a road outside. We tried out lots of ways of travelling along it including the car, trike, scooters and space hoppers! We even had traffic police to make sure we were following the rules of the road! ☺️👮‍♀️ @CdaleActiveEd #activeschool

We started our Welly Wednesday session with a stick hunt. We found long and short sticks, curvy and straight sticks and then had to find the perfect stick to make a log dog. We walked our log dogs safely back to school on their leads.

KS2 Art Club have finished their Yayoi Kusama inspired Infinity Mirror Rooms. They look fab!

Reception had lots of yummy fun whilst also practising their fine motor skills this afternoon!

We spent a lovely sunny Tuesday minibeast hunting at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve. We were very excited to find lots of minibeasts and even some newts and a frog! Thank you for a super day @cbwgrp

When the children came back from playtime they discovered a terrible mess in the class room! And we can’t find The Gingerbread Man anywhere…

Team work in the sunshine yesterday to build a den. Great problem solving to adapt the design when it got a bit windy. They even added a carpet inside and a slide outside! 🙌🏻 @CdaleActiveEd #activeschool
