Cricket can easily have 48-team WCs if the Indian Union had different countries like the European Union. Also, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, etc., can become proper Test sides in a few years. If we split the West Indies, they can field six international teams that would be very competitive in T20 WCs. Also, Wales needs to be separated from the ECB and we will have another European team in WCs.

Jersey missed out on qualification, Scotland would have missed if not for Bangladesh withdrawl. Good teams like Hong Kong have missed out on a world cup qualification. I think @ICC should think of a 24-team T20 world cup in 2030. Also expand ODI world cup to 16.

@ragav_x Yeah! Been thinking about the same, I know ICC changes graphics for T20WC every two editions but still excited. However, I feel ICC has stopped being much creative with these graphics post 2019 CWC, they be following a similar template every tournament.

India are playing South Africa in a warm up match today. That match is likely to be produced like a WC game, so we may get the 2026 T20 World Cup scorecard graphics, intro, etc. tonight. And don’t expect anything new. It will mostly be a variation of the 2024 T20 WC graphics.
