Bambi Team Clarification Bridge Commitment & Delivery We committed to bridging Bambi from Ethereum to Somnia Mainnet as per the milestones agreed with the Somnia team. Aleksa approved this plan and gave us a final deadline of September 24 (Wednesday). Bridge Message Timeline - On 17th, we were messaged about the bridge, we replied immediately. - On 20th, another message came: “Bridge by Wednesday or you will be removed from Boost.” - This was an extremely tight deadline, yet we still bridged on time. Bridge Execution The bridge and announcement were both completed on September 23, ahead of the deadline, and this was publicly posted on our Twitter. No Objections from Bridge Announcement - Aleksa raised no objections at the time of the bridge and after we bridged too. - We clearly communicated to Aleksa that bridge NFTs would receive a boost. - We also asked Aleksa to remove the Ethereum CA from the boost platform and replace it with the Somnia CA, which we provided. Trading Live on Loomia Bambi trading went live on Loomia on September 23. The bridge was delivered on time, despite the complex technical effort involved. Why the Bridge Took Time Building a bridge is not instant. External platforms quoted very high costs. We decided to build our own bridge and made the bridge, which is reusable for other NFTs as well. Selective Warning Why was Bambi only given strict warnings, while 3–4 other projects also haven’t bridged still. Weren't they given a deadline and warning that they need to bridge else they will be removed from boost. OpenSea Visibility Issue on Somnia Chain - The only pending issue is with OpenSea, where the bridged Bambi collection isn’t showing properly. - We have been in touch with the OpenSea team since the bridge. ETH Contract Kill Issue - Nowhere in the deal was it agreed that the Ethereum contract would be killed. The only agreement was to bridge the Bambi NFTs and that we already did. - Aleksa claimed she asked us to kill the ETH contract. In reality, she never directly told us. - She just removed us from Boost and tweeted instead. - Killing ETH CA instantly would have hurt holders and whales still trading on Ethereum, as we don't want to have financial loss of our holders. Quills Traits & Somzies Listing Issue - We also updated the Bambi's art traits, yet dissatisfaction from Quills team still continues. We listed Somzies because they were open for trading. - We reached out to Quills, but they blocked our accounts and banned our Team IDs. - Since we were the only marketplace on Somnia, listing was fully valid. - If Quills had a problem, they could have spoken to us directly. Instead, Aleksa warned us for listing. Aleksa’s Response on Removal of Quills and Somzies Listing from Loomia - We were never informed when Quills and Somzies were removed from Loomia and later learned from OpenSea that the contract had been blocked. - When we asked the Somnia team, Aleksa replied “why are you surprised?” - Even reached out to the Quills team to collaborate for the community’s benefit only to be ignored and blocked. - We expected Somnia to prioritize the community and bring both projects together, but the opposite happened. Loomia Case - Loomia went live day 0 of mainnet, but wasn’t added to the ecosystem until much later. Even when added, it was wrongly labelled as “building”. - We repeatedly asked for corrections, but they still haven’t been fixed. Final Note We have been accused of being a “bad team”. This hurts us deeply because our intentions have never been that. From the very beginning, our goal has been to profit our community, not exploit it. We organized NFT giveaways. We distributed holder rewards. We built Loomia to share its revenue with the community. We have a long term vision for Bambi. Yet, despite delivering on milestones and building for the past 8 months, we were often treated like villains instead of builders.
