Winter Hitting League! I am very excited about this, and I know the other instructors are, too. I also want to thank Home Turf Training Center for hosting this month-long event. Guidelines for the hitting league are as follows: BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL All games will occur in Cage 8 on the new Hittrax Hitting Center. A pitching machine will do the pitching. Outs and hits will be determined by the Hittrax. Hitters will be given three strikes and three outs per inning. Every batter will get 21 outs per night. Age groups include 10u, 12u, 14u, and 16u. 10u, 12u, and 14u will be teams of three. (You can sign up as a team, but teams will be formed for anyone who doesn't have a team) 16u will be individual. The dates and times are as follows: December 1st, 8th, 15th and 29th Softball 5:00-6:30 Baseball 6:30-8:00 A coach will be at home plate to help kids who are struggling. Another instructor will be assisting kids after their inning. Payment is $100 due by the first day, December 1st. Winners of the tournament will review a prize. Fun will be the main priority of this league.
