@db_gamgee I don’t see the comparison 1:1 either but I don’t think they’re bad games. I wouldnt reccomend it to someone who likes DE but don’t have weeb tendencies… danganronpa transcends generations and weebs love it. It’s a weeb’s fine whiskey.

I watched a few episodes of Avatar over the weekend. It seemed...fine? I don't have any nostalgic connection to it, so maybe it's different if you watched it as a kid. Unsure if I'll keep watching it or not. The best news is that my impression of the magic/fighting/characters is that it's going to be way more at home in Magic than something like Spider-man.

@db_gamgee - 3-ish months before banning eye of ugin and constantly trying to fix standard for a year. Still can't compare with everything that came after, oko, companions, and yes, evoke elementals and beans, which are consequences of not testing formats enough since edh is the main focus

@Em_TeeGee I think the best two mechanics from my time playing are Manifest Dread and Connive, specific cards-wise, I adore Flickerwisp, Thoughtseize, Make Disappear, and Subterranean Schooner
