Banyak perempuan diajarin untuk jadi kuat, tapi bukan untuk punya power.
Kuat itu tahan banting, sabar, ngalah, bisa handle semuanya sendiri.
Power itu berani untuk punya pilihan, bisa bilang no, bisa ninggalin, bisa set boundary tanpa rasa bersalah.
Dan ironisnya society sering ngepraise perempuan yang kuat (yang tahan disakiti, tetap stay, tetap ngurus semua), tapi uncomfortable sama perempuan yang punya power (yang tegas Dan gak mau compromise terus).
Semua perempuan kuat kok, gak kekurangan strength,
yang sering kurang itu permission untuk pakai powernya.

Like I saw him in December in what was a very tough year and I have been locked in since. I now realize all I ever needed in 2025 was a conversation with a person who lives in a way that reminds you of what is possible when you put in work with discipline, and consistency.

I know a guy whose level of discipline and drive pushes me to do better with my life. I remember telling him that each time we have ever hung out (it has probably only been twice or thrice in the last three years), I have gone on to do great things for myself.

Siapa yang lama dalam MNC faham perangai mereka. Mereka jarang tunggu krisis meletup depan mata baru bertindak.
Mereka akan beku pengambilan, susun semula headcount dan lindung margin lebih awal. Sebab dalam dunia korporat, angka selalunya dilindungi lebih cepat daripada manusia.
Jadi bila firma besar seperti KPMG UK mula potong staf audit, jangan baca itu sebagai kisah terpencil. Itu tanda pemain besar sudah mula menghidu ribut.
Dan setiap kali korporat mula berjaga-jaga, yang paling awal terhimpit selalunya bukan orang paling atas... tapi pekerja yang dari awal lagi cuma dibayar cukup untuk bertahan, bukan untuk hidup.
