I can only hope that every young academic has a mentor like Carol; someone who not only guides and supports them but - most importantly - inspires them to keep standing up against injustice 🌱

But we are no longer in those times, we no longer need to rely on animal proteins to survive, so abusing them for food is not morally justifiable.
