@dirtgraham @Michplay_a_day Artificial turf went into Memorial Stadium in Minnesota ahead of the 1970 season and was removed after the 1976 season. It was defective in some way. I think due to split seams and the turf bunching up. It was 3M Tartan Turf. The Cowboys, Steelers, and Patriots all used it too.

New MGoBlog tagline just dropped.
Matt Brown@MattBrownEP
The MGoBlog people were nice enough to mail me a copy of their preview mag, since I wrote a sportsbiz story for it. My wife is nonchalantly flipping through it right now and just said "Good God this is some nerd shit. I did not realize people liked football this much."

FACT’s First Food Distribution Was a Huge Success!
Yesterday, we distributed food staples to 237 households at our first-ever Food Distribution Event!
Huge thanks to Catholic Charities Shiawassee & Genesee Counties and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan for making this possible. Special shoutout to our incredible volunteers from Ennis Center for Children, Reach Resource Services, and InvolvedDad for lending a helping hand!
The weather was perfect, and we were grateful to serve our community. More to come! 💙
